Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans. (Proverbs 16:3)
Just because something looks and feels right does not mean it's God's will.
It might be a good and beneficial thing or relationship but not necessarily in line with God's plan for your life.
Sometimes we get so caught up on how good something feels that we neglect to simply ask, "Lord is this your will". A simple yet powerful question, that can possibly save you years of grief and regret.
Something that looks like a set-up can very well be a set-back.
But you have a loving, all knowing Heavenly Father that desires you to run to Him and embrace the foresight He offers. Holy foreknowledge that will keep you from adversity and harm's way.
He's calling you to blindly trust Him with your life and seek Him.
Share your plans, your relationships, your desires, and place them before Him;
confirm if it's all indeed in line with His will.
God promises to guide you and lead you in straight paths, to help you walk and not be held back,
He will always steer you in the right direction, the direction He has planned out just for you.(Proverbs 4:11-12) This path might not be the easiest nor the most convenient but it'll be perfect because it's right where He wants you to be.
